Janet came to know and love the Lord Jesus while living in Mozambique in her 40s. Originally from Kent, she now divides her time between Mozambique and Plaxtol, near Sevenoaks and Tonbridge, and is mum to her daughter, Gabrielle. Her journey to Mozambique was not something she imagined when she graduated from Southampton University in 1980, followed by five years working in Washington D.C. and nine years in London with an American investment bank. In 2009, she began the ministry Growing Hope in Mozambique in a very small way — and as the vision took root and was faithfully watered, it has been our GREAT BIG God who has made it grow. Growing Hope aims to create opportunities for Mozambicans through agricultural training and craft production which in turn helps to develop micro businesses for families and communities. In 2015, they introduced Farming God’s Way, a resource for teaching improved and sustainable conservation agriculture methods, based on Biblical principles.  For more information on this ministry, visit the website: www.africanaturally.com
