Join us on Saturday, 9th September as we meet over breakfast with other Christian women across Ashford and listen to the inspiring story from Bea Das! Bea Das is a contemporary artist and fashion designer living and working in Sevenoaks. She is a Christian who loves working with people and sharing the gift God has given her through Fashion and Art. Bea’s work pays homage to her past: She was born in India and spent her younger years living in Uganda before eventually coming to England. Her culturally rich past is reflected in her choice of colours: pulling them from nature, landscapes and the joys of life to incorporate them in her paintings. Bea trained as a Textile Fashion designer and gained a B.A Hons from West Surrey College of Art and Design and there after spent the last 30 years working as a fashion designer for bridal and evening wear, designing bespoke pieces for clients. Bea owned Bea Das Atelier in Sevenoaks.  Throughout her career, Bea has earned recognition and awards for her exceptional talent and creativity, including being named New Designer of the Year in 2001 and Finalist for Embroidery by Conde Nast Brides. Bea retired from the fashion industry in 2019 and now focusses on fine art painting. She is looking forward to sharing her story and God’s desire for us all to be fashioned by His love!
